Recently we added Equine Facilitated Psychotherapy to our program.  EFP is defined as an interactive process in which a licensed mental health professional or an appropriately credentialed equine professional partners with suitable equine(s) to address a client’s psychotherapy goals set forth by the mental health professional.  Lara Artzberger is our staff therapist and the San Antonio Jr Forum provided the funds for her Professional Association of Therapeutic Horsemanship International (P.A.T.H.) equine mental health certification.  Thanks to the Jr Forum for making this possible.
