In Remembrance of Mr. Cool

We are extremely sad to inform everyone that we lost Mr. Cool recently to a sudden illness.

Mr. Cool spent 22 years at the Saddle Light Center and provided therapy to countless riders over the years.

Early in his life he had a stint as a racehorse and another as a jumper but the fast paced life was not for him, so he was a great fit for the Saddle Light Center. With his long even stride and consistent forward motion, he was an excellent hippotherapy horse. Mr. Cool was gentle and patient with clients and volunteers, but he didn’t like to hold still!

Even though he is gone, the imprint of the circle he liked to walk in his paddock will likely be there as a reminder for a long time. He is missed by all but we are grateful for his presence for over 2 decades. Many have asked how Sonny D is coping with the loss of his pal and fortunately he is doing very well.
