I started volunteering at the Saddle Light Center 6 years ago as a way to get familiar with horses again after a long hiatus. I also felt like I needed some outdoor time after working in an office 9 hours every day! The therapy horses are truly special—their funny and kind personalities always brighten my day. Getting to know the other volunteers is a pleasure, and watching how much the kids change and grow over the years is very rewarding.
